Had a great time with Jordan capturing a few images for her Senior Photos. We still have another session to go. It's going to be fun!

The Woodland Wedding
In the heat of July 2nd a wedding occurred. Moments before the ceremony, a storm rolled through the area cooling the temps 10 degrees and bringing with it beautiful skies. After the union, snow cones were served and the guests enjoyed a relaxing evening filled with laughter and great conversation. We so enjoyed creating images of these two lives being joined together.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Eric Walter!

The Building of a Chapel Part 1
Recently, I have had the pleasure to be a part of a special project...The building of a chapel for the marriage of a daughter. This labor of love is a precious thing to help with and observe. It is ...in many ways ...the beginning of something beautiful.

Celebrating a Legacy
I had the opportunity to capture moments from the celebration of 60 years of marriage for the Scruggs family! It was a privilege to have a hand in gathering memories for this landmark occasion.

New Eagle Scout
How fortunate we were this weekend to get to attend my nephew's Eagle ceremony! He has proven his mettle in pursuit of Eagle Scout over the years and it was great to share in the celebration.
As Mike Rowe said, "The Eagle Award is not really meant for people who need to be dragged across the finish line. It's meant for a select few..."
We are proud of you!

Time for Understanding
I was going through old images today and came across this man I met in New Orleans. He had a bad leg and was in a desperate situation. I began talking with him and he looked at me and started explaining how his life started falling apart. He is a good man, but has lost hope. He told me"This is not me, I'm better than what you see." I believe this to be true about a lot of people we pass on the street. This time of the year is about the birth of Jesus Christ. So let's remember compassion.
Merry Christmas, Gary Yandell
