Family Portraits!

We have been busy with family portraits!
It has been great seeing these families enjoying some time together.
There are a some we have been photographing for several years.

Not only is it fun, but it is an honor, to watch these families grow.

The Building of a Chapel Part 1

Recently, I have had the pleasure to be a part of a special project...The building of a chapel for the marriage of a daughter.  This labor of love is a precious thing to help with and observe.  It is ...in many ways ...the beginning of something beautiful.

Are merely shadows cast by outward things....

Celebrating a Legacy

I had the opportunity to capture moments from the celebration of 60 years of marriage for the Scruggs family!  It was a privilege to have a hand in gathering memories for this landmark occasion.

Backyard Safari

Well, Christmas has come and gone and the toys are getting well used over the break.  Uncle Fish and Aunt Chicken gave some ultra cool gifts to the offspring.  #3 has been wearing out the safari set and has travelled thousands of boyland miles with it.  I had to capture a few moments for posterity.  :)

Harvesting A Tree

Today was the traditional harvesting of the family Christmas tree. I am no P. Allan Smith, but we usually get a great tree. Cedars grow like weeds around here, so we never lack for a selection. We always get one from a fence line, just to keep them clear. We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas season.

Sincerely,
