and family portraits for some clients this year. 

 It was cold, but, they were troopers!

We have been busy with family portraits!  
It has been great seeing these families enjoying some time together.  
There are a some we have been photographing for several years.  


                        

Not only is it fun, but it is an honor, to watch these families grow.

Had a great time with Jordan capturing a few images for her Senior Photos.  We still have another session to go.  It's going to be fun!

Winter is tea time at our home.

Some great storms have been sweeping through the area.  I have been taking advantage of the beauty.

pizzas at Fratelli's Wood-Fired Pizzeria.  

It's a bustling little place and we only got to capture a few of their pizzas, but these guys know what they are doing!

Free Burma Ranger Event

From their site :

"The Free Burma Rangers' (FBR) mission is to provide hope, help and love to internally displaced people inside Burma, regardless of ethnicity or religion. Using a network of indigenous field teams, FBR reports on human rights abuses, casualties and the humanitarian needs of people who are under the oppression of the Burma Army. FBR provides medical, spiritual and educational resources for IDP communities as they struggle to survive Burmese military attacks."

The Woodland Wedding

In the heat of July 2nd a wedding occurred.  Moments before the ceremony, a storm rolled through the area cooling the temps 10 degrees and bringing with it beautiful skies.  After the union, snow cones were served and the guests enjoyed a relaxing evening filled with laughter and great conversation.  We so enjoyed creating images of these two lives being joined together.

Recently, I have had the pleasure to be a part of a special project...The building of a chapel for the marriage of a daughter.  This labor of love is a precious thing to help with and observe.  It is ...in many ways ...the beginning of something beautiful.
